#constructive criticism
/When I was a kid, before I knew I would have a career in design, I wanted to create a newspaper, with articles all written by me. I told my mom I was going to write about all the local construction, because it was everywhere. I asked her if this was a good idea. I just remember her replying that construction was ALWAYS happening. Sure I was disappointed, but this is in no way meant to bash my mom and her killing my dream (I went on to write comics, children's books, and Bible lessons like a normal kid). If I had a newspaper talking about local construction I'm sure it would get very boring. But I was listening to this song and realized that what WILL catch peoples' attention is telling others about the construction in our lives. Yeah, we want to know the daily drama, but I mean that we should be showing others what we are doing to improve ourselves. What are we tearing down, and what are we building our foundation on?
